ReViews - Our local tables!

First, an explanation......This is the first time that we have practiced in the 'Midtown' part of Tulsa, and even though we know quite a few restaurants and businesses here, we don't get to visit them as much as we would like. One of our core beliefs is that we need to support our neighbors, and let people know about the small businesses around us! Also, some of our clients have had questions like "where's a good place to eat after my massage?". Here are a few suggestions that we have. Keep in mind, not all of the restaurants in our area are listed, we have done our best to present you only what we feel are the best, and have visited ourselves! These are not paid or compensated endorsements, either - in some cases, we had to create the graphics (sorry if this offends the restaurtants). Bon Appetit!

Dragon Moon Tea Room! An awesome experience for the eyes and palate!

From the moment that we moved in, Dragon Moon has been one of our absolute favorite places to visit, both to have a casual lunch, grab a great tea, or just drop in to sample a dessert. The service is outstanding, the ambiance is wonderfully accented by beautiful artists, and the food is incredible! There is always a new offering of specialty teas, and we have never been steered wrong by a suggestion from our server. They also offer 'high teas' and catering. You can order tea by the cup, glass, or by the pot, personally, I recommend sharing a pot of a tea you haven't tried yet. I just wish I had more time to visit!

Jim's Never on Sunday!!

When in Tulsa, Jim's is one of the best places to go for a quick, satisfying lunch. Whether you choose the traditional coneys or decide on one of the several greek specialties (We especially like the Gyros Plate and the Baklava), you will not walk away unsatisfied!. Service is friendly and attentive, and focused on making your meal memorable! We highly recommend Jim's! -Now they're online! www.jimsconeyisland.com

Umberto's Pizzeria

Umbertos is one of the best pizzas that we have had. Traditinal 'New York' Style, with no frills - try your favorite with a side of garlic knots. The most frustrating thing about Umberto's is that you can't seem to find a menu online anywhere! So, on our last visit, I grabbed a picture of it, and am posting it here! They also deliver!

Big Al's Healthy FoodsA Tulsa tradition for as long as I can remember, Big Al's is the best place in town for the health conscious. Convienient at 15th and Harvard, but parking is a bit tricky. Be patient, and careful! A great quick healthy meal (I like the Oriental Chicken Wrap - with a Peanut butter & Chocolate Smoothie; Xerlan is a carrot Juice with almost anything on the menu..). Only drawback is that Big Al's is only open until 4pm, so if I miss lunch, I don't get dinner! Visit them online at www.bigalshealthyfoods.com !
